Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

As I am staying aboard, I could get Amoxycilline 825 mg with 125mg of Clavulanic Acid potassium. I already have Loxoprufen 60mg. Can I take them? I am already having tongue and throat inflammation. Can I proceed with salt water gargle until the extraction pain subsides? I also have Panadol 500 mg.

I am also taking multivitamin tablets with omega-3 capsules and I am not taking any sweets. I would like to know what comes under sticky food. Tablet Pan D is not available here. Can I take egg, rice, dal, vegetables? Kindly suggest.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.I was concerned as you were staying aboard along with a quarantined lifestyle.

  • Amoxycillin 825 with Clavulanic acid 125 mg will be high dose for you so I would suggest break the tablet into a half and use it two times a day after meal.
  • Tablet Panodol 500mg is a plain Paracetamol 500mg and it can be taken three times a day after meal.
  • If seratiopeptidase with paracetamol is available, then it will be more efficient.
  • Loxoprufen is a good medicine but many side effects when taken with other drugs so avoid it if not necessary.
  • Rinse with salt water rinse three to four times a day.
  • Also take a capsule of Pan D (proton pump inhibitor) that will minimize the gastric acid secretion from stomach.
  • Brush twice daily and use any mouth wash.

I hope this information will help you.Thank you.
