Why does my throat and vocal cords seem swelled?

Hi doctor,

I am having issues with acid reflux for months and for the last two months my main symptoms include the following: 1. cough. 2. constant throat clearing. 3. voice hoarseness. 4. stomach gas and bloating. Over time, the stomach seems more settled but other symptoms do not go away. I had a phone consultation with my ENT and he had put me on Pantaprazole to be taken twice daily, about a week ago. Next week, I am going in for an in-clinic appointment with the ENT. I hope he does a laryngoscopy exam to see my throat and vocal cords. There seems to be a lot of swelling. What do you think it could be? Can the drug Prednisolone help?

How to cure otitis media presenting with no pain?

Hello doctor,

Is this otitis media with effusion? I have attached pictures. I have had symptoms for 1.5 weeks now. It seems to be slowly getting better, but I am unsure if there is any treatment for this or if it just has to be waited out. I have no pain.

What could be the reason for a sore throat with white streaks, red bumps, and an odd feeling in the tongue?

Hi doctor,

I have had a sore throat for the past four weeks now. And I noticed white streaks and red bumps in my throat and took antibiotics, but it was not beneficial. It has been there for the past two weeks. The doctor did blood and swab tests, but the reports were normal. And he thinks it is viral. Also, my tongue feels slightly odd, as if it is burnt. My doubt is how it can last that long. Now I am worried, and I am sure my GP will not see me again for another couple of weeks as he thinks it will resolve on its own. Please give your suggestions.
