How to confirm if someone has systemic lupus erythematosus?

Hi, Welcome to icliniq.com. Get an ANA test (antinuclear antibodies) done to diagnose SLE. Though ANA is positive in other autoimmune diseases too, it is strongly positive in SLE. Once this test is found to be positive, it is correlated with signs and symptoms to confirm SLE. In case of doubt, other confirmatory tests would be required.

Do low TSH level and Low FT4 mean hyperthyroid?

Also, your thyroid is not hyperactive and your thyroids are apparently functioning normally. You will therefore require further evaluation to localize the site of abnormality. Based on the test reports, appropriate treatment will be given to you to correct the condition.

What are the causes and management of chest pain?

Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. You have neither mentioned the duration of diabetes, nor the latest fasting and postprandial (PP) blood sugar levels, HbA1c (glycated hemoglobin) value, or the latest TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone) levels. Please provide this information, as well as her blood pressure (BP). Furthermore, the description of the chest pain suggests a few possibilities:Simple muscle spasm between the ribs (which would have likely improved with a short course of muscle relaxants and would not have warranted further tests, including a CT scan).Inflammation of the left lung lining (pleura), which, if associated with weight loss and low-grade fever, could indicate tuberculosis.
