Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

While passing motion, there is a lot of bleeding for the last one week. Earlier it was there but very rare. Now, whenever I pass motion, there is bleeding and burning sensation with irritation. Also, I had a normal delivery before nine months. Earlier, my gynecologist suggested having Duphalac syrup on post-delivery. Can I continue the same syrup? Kindly suggest.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq

I went through your query. Based on symptoms, mostly, you have bleeding piles or fissures. Yes, you can take Duphalac syrup two tablespoons at night time. Also, apply Cherioll hemorrhoid cream near your anal area. It will help with the pain. Some preventive measures that you need to take are:

1. Avoid constipation and straining during passing stools.

2. Take a sitz bath (take a tub and fill it with warm water and salt. Sit on it twice a day for half an hour).

3. Try to eat food rich in high fiber diet, eat fresh fruits and vegetables.

4. Drink plenty of water.

5. Apply warm pads to your bottom.

You can see a local doctor later on or if symptoms worsen for a physical examination.

I hope this helps.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
