Hi doctor,
I am facing trouble while urinating. It is bleeding while urinating and it is very painful. I get a burning sensation for a while too.
I had taken the tablet Paracetamol two days back.
What should I do?
Please suggest me medication.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Your problem can be due to a urine infection or a urinary tract stone. You will need to get a urine microscopy test and an ultrasound of the abdomen and the pelvis done to confirm the diagnosis. Your final treatment will depend on the final diagnosis and severity of the infection. It is not possible to prescribe antibiotic treatment on text consultation as it requires video consultation, as per the government guidelines. For your symptoms to get relieved, you can take the tablet Meftal spas (Mefenamic acid and Dicyclomine), which will decrease your pain. You will need to do the above-mentioned tests as soon as possible to confirm the cause of your problem.
Hi doctor,
Thank you for your response.
I will do the tests as soon as possible. How much water should I drink in a day?
Hi,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
Your daily water intake should be 2.5 to 3 liters.
