Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com. It may be a sleep disorder. Kindly go for spirometry and sleep study.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

Breathing disorder is only while on a train journey, either in 3 AC or sleeper class. During the daytime journey, there is less problem. But on the night journey (especially while sleeping), the problem is more severe. I tried vomiting tablet. But it did not help me. Can you suggest any tablet for this issue? Will spirometry test help to identify my problem?

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com. Yes, spirometry test will tell you why actually you have breathlessness. And also X-ray chest (Posteroanterior)PA and maybe HRCT (high-resolution computed tomography) thorax if needed. Also, a sleep study is important because in sleep there is fall in oxygen in the body. It may cause dyspnea and also increase neck circumference that presses your trachea. So go for spirometry and sleep study (polysomnography). Till then, take tablet Abphyllin 200 once.
