Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am having persistence cough for over four weeks and high ESR of 66 and X-ray result show swollen lymph nodes as well but just finished using antibiotics and cough syrup. Presently cough has reduced. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advise. Your mentioned symptoms could be from a bronchitis-like inflammatory condition and so, enlarged lymph nodes can be present. Your symptoms have improved and so, now no further medication is advised and close clinical monitoring is advisable. Take one teaspoon turmeric powder with milk daily. Drink lots of water. Steam inhalation done three times a day with warm water. Enlarged reactive nodes will be returned to normal in size in few days. So repeat your X-ray after a few days. Meanwhile, if any fever or an aggravating cough occurs, then report to your doctor. Thank you and take care. Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
