Patient's Query

Hi,

I am an 18-year-old female, diagnosed with PCOS and adenomyosis last year, and not taking any medicine. I have a concern regarding pregnancy. I had my period last at the start of January, the mid of February, and in the mid of March. In the last week of March, my boyfriend and I were intimate. He fingered me after going to the bathroom to pee, and I sprayed alcohol on his hands. And last month, he also fingered me and dry-humped me with his private part out, but I was wearing my underwear on. He did not cum or anything. Now I am more worried if I am already pregnant because of my delayed period or if I will be pregnant because of what happened. Also, I had a brown discharge in the last week of last month and yesterday. I also feel sick and nauseous today. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through your case, and I understand your concern.

As per your description, there is almost no chance of getting pregnant. PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) cycles are usually anovulatory, which means there are no egg releases. It is common to get irregular, delayed periods, and they are usually scanty, so do not worry. Spotting that you got could be of your menstrual bleeding. I will suggest you start taking medication for irregular periods. Simultaneously start doing regular exercise and diet modification like eating more green leafy vegetables and fruits. This will help you a lot in curing PCOS.

Hope this information helps you.
