Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I took Letroz 2.5 mg for 10 days. From day 2, I had two follicles of 2×2.3 and 1.7×1.8, at 13th day injected with Fertigen 5000. After 33 hours, I had IUI where my husband's sperm after washed 21 million, 33 % motility. I am taking Progesterone 200 for 14 days. Now my period is late by three days. I did a home pregnancy test, it was negative. I have pain in one side (pelvic pain). Is there any chance for pregnancy?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Your period is delayed by three days. The urine hCG card test gives a conclusive result only after one week of delayed periods. So, if your period is delayed for one week, then a urine hCG card test is advisable to rule out pregnancy.

If you want to rule out early, then a blood hCG estimation can be done.

If pregnancy is negative, then for pelvic pain, per speculum examination and USG scan are advisable for further work up.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
