Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I had sex with my partner. It has been five days now. She has not got her periods. She took I-pill within 75 hours of sex. I need suggestions. How to deal with this issue?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Taking I-pill within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse reduces the risk of pregnancy by 88 percent. When was her last period? Periods may be late due to I-pill.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

Intercourse happened before five days. I-pill was taken after 75 hours of sex. Her last period was on the first week of this month. Should we take any measures or wait for the period?

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

You need not take any other measure because it will not give any extra benefit. You have to wait for a period which may be late due to I-pill. The intercourse happened on 22nd day of the period, so the risk of pregnancy is very low.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
