Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I want to know about my ECG report. I have attached it. Please suggest.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through the attachment (attachment removed to protect patient identity). There is an irregular rhythm called atrial fibrillation, which is usually not life-threatening but needs evaluation for the cause. Also, there are Q waves in the inferior leads which suggest the possibility of heart damage and blockages in some patients. So you should get an echo (echocardiography) and TMT (treadmill test) done to look for a cause. Also, get your thyroid test done, if there is any snoring, interrupted sleep, and morning headaches. If yes, I suggest the possibility of sleep apnea.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
