This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My son, who is one year old, has had a watery right eye since yesterday morning. It is not watering continuously. It is like that yesterday morning after waking up this morning after waking up and this evening.

Sometimes, along with watery eyes, a runny nose is also there. Along with watering, the eye is becoming red.

Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Just follow the advice. Clean the eye from inside to outside with clean cotton or a cloth. Instill Tobramycin (antibiotic) eye drops, one drop in each eye three times a day. Start syrup Cetirizine one teaspoon once a day for five days.

It may be due to some allergy or infection, but it is still too early to comment on a specific term. Wash her eyes with clean water. Give a follow-up after two days.

I hope that you get your answer.

Please let me know if you need any help.

Thank you.
