Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

The attached reports (attachment removed to protect patient identity) show mild variation in liver enzymes. This looks like a fatty liver disease. To complete the evaluation, you need to get an ultrasound scan of the abdomen to assess the liver.

Regarding approach, it includes diet modification, regular physical activity, and medicines.

Do you have any other illness? Any other treatments previously?

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you very much for your prompt reply. The ultrasound scan of the abdomen has been done, found nothing to disclose. I will upload the report in the late evening. At present, I am taking Fenolip 145 daily once since last 15 days. No other treatment is being done so far. Please advise further.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

You need to modify your diet. Bring down the fatty foods (fried, baked, etc), excess carbohydrates and go up with proteins. Practice short frequent feeds.

  • Have regular aerobic exercises. Spend at least an hour a week for the same.
  • Avoid everything which potentially can damage the liver including unknown and alternative medicines.
  • Regarding medicines, you can continue Fenolip (Fenofibrate).
  • Get lab tests repeated after six weeks and consider a review.

Be consistent with these measures. Hope your queries have been cleared.
