Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for your reply.

I have no energy. I have a little trouble focusing on it. I am wondering if I have a thyroid issue.

Kindly help.

5. How is your blood pressure?

6. Are there any swelling of your legs?

7. Are there any rashes on your body?

9. Do you look unusually pale?

10. Does your skin look unusually dry?

11. Are you diabetic or hypertensive?

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for your reply.

Felt like this for about a year, and I gained 10 pounds in the last year, overall weight gain. I am cold at times, and I am not breathless. Blood pressure is normal. A little swelling, but not necessarily in my legs. I do not have any rashes and do not have any palpitations. I do not think that I am pale, but my skin is a little dry. I am not diabetic and not under any medication. But I only take Vitamins. I took a blood test about two years ago, and it was normal.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It leaves me with a couple of diagnoses that may be confirmed by following blood tests. Also, suggest you get a few more tests as routine considering your age. Once approved by laboratory reports, let start with treatment for the same. In the meantime, I shall prescribe you some Multivitamin and vitamin D medications, which help you feel better and are generally deficient in such age.

Blood investigations: Complete blood count, blood urea, serum creatinine, serum electrolytes, serum calcium, thyroid profile, and lipid profile.

Urine tests like urine routine.

The treatment plan as of now:

1. Capsule Becozinc (Zinc and B complex fortified with Vitamine C), or Vitafol (Multivitamins, Folic acid, and Iron liquid) or Strovite One (Multivitamins and Minerals), one capsule daily after food.

2. Vitamin D3 capsules 60 K IU, one tablet once in a week for four weeks and then once in a month for the next five months.

Thank you.
