Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have developed small boil-sort of a blister on my waist. It is red and always itches. I have a burning sensation. It started last week and never before. I have no medical issues except a migraine. I have tried Quadriderm and Candid B ointment but no gain. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com

In the picture (attachment removed to protect patient identity), they seem like smooth white patches, without any boil or blister. Please put up another clear picture if there is a boil or blister. Take the photo in natural light or check them for clarity before sending, as these pictures are not very clear.

  1. Meanwhile, take tablet Allegra (Fexofenadine) 120 mg twice a day for itching.
  2. Apply Emoderm (soft paraffin) cream.
  3. Never apply Quadriderm (Beclometasone, Clotrimazole, and Neomycin). It is bad for the skin.

Regards.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for the reply. Attached is one picture which I hope is clear.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Yes, there are no boils. You can apply Lobate (Clobetasol) cream only over the spots and after five to 10 minutes, apply Emoderm cream over the spots and surrounding areas. Take tablet Allegra 120 mg twice a day for two weeks. Avoid soap over this area. Apply less often and use dove or pears. Wear loose cotton undergarments.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
