Few of my tests are abnormal. How to make them normal again?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Kindly check my reports. A few tests show some varied results. So, kindly give me suggestions to make them normal again.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I reviewed your reports (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity).

Your tests can return to normal just by dietary and lifestyle modifications.

I have a few suggestions for you-

1. You need to avoid saturated fats such as fried and processed foods.

2. You must try to choose leaner cuts of meat and low-fat dairy products.

3. You mustb try to get your fat consumption from olive oil.

4. You must increase your dietary intake of fruits and vegetables.

5. You must add other sources of fibers such as oats, bran, brown bread, brown pasta, and brown flour.

6. You need to increase your dietary intake of omega-three either by eating more seafood or taking an omega-three supplement.

7. Add vitamin D supplements to your diet to increase its level.

8. Exercising daily for half an hour, even by simply walking, will also help.

I hope you find this helpful.

Thank you.
