Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been masturbating regularly for the past five years. Initially, I masturbated thrice daily, and now I masturbate once daily. Porn fantasies are always on my mind. How can I get rid of these thoughts?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

Masturbation is normal; it is just another way of having sex without a partner. However, it is a good practice and helps you to calm your mind and release happy and stress-bursting hormones. Masturbating two to three times a week is not an issue; more than that is also not an issue but needs adequate nutrition and exercise, which will be challenging to fulfill unless you are a professional.

So I suggest you to follow the instructions mentioned below to reduce masturbation.

  1. Sex education is essential.
  2. Engage yourself in physical exercises.
  3. Have an adequate sleep.
  4. Have a healthy and balanced diet.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.
