Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had a protected sexual relationship, but the condom broke, so I took the emergency pill. I had my period three days later in the middle of last month, and I got my period two days back. Is that normal?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.

Menstrual irregularities, in your case, could be due to hormonal imbalance caused by an i-pill (Levonorgestrel). As you took the i-pill on time, there is almost no chance of pregnancy in your case. So wait and watch for your menses; get your home urine pregnancy test after seven days of your missed period date. Feel free to ask for more information.

Good luck. Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
