Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have been experiencing cramping and spotting since yesterday. Yesterday it was just a dot, but today, more than that. My period date is yet to come.

Please help me.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

  1. Have you recently quit or started any contraceptives, hormones, or medications?
  2. Do you have any medical history of clotting or bleeding disorder?
  3. Have you previously noticed any pelvic infection, trauma, or pelvic region skin lesion?
  4. My advice is to have one transvaginal scan, beta HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) to exclude pregnancy, thyroid function test, cervical smear, and high vaginal swab. One detailed local examination via hysteroscopy can clear local lesions, cervical or endometrial polyp, and any other local lesion. Collect all laboratory reports and discuss them here or with your doctor. For now, you can have tablet Ponstan (Mefenamic Acid) 500 milligrams and tablet Transenxamic acid 500 milligrams every eight hours for three to five days as per symptoms to reduce and stop bleeding without hormonal support. I advice you to consult with a specialist and take the medications mentioned above with their consent. Start exercising daily, drink plenty of water, and eat fruits and vegetables. Avoid recreational drugs and do recreational activities.

    Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
