Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had an MRI. The result suggested a medial meniscus tear, mild lateral patellar retinaculum sprain, mild lateral patellar tilt, minimal ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) sprain, small joint effusion, and minimal to mild osteoarthritis. What would your best advice be for me concerning these issues?

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern. You have not mentioned how the problem started and what issues you are currently facing in day-to-day life. As far as the report is concerned, it shows a tear of the medial meniscus and an impact on other ligaments too. Now it can be treated conservatively and surgically as well. It depends on the amplitude of the problem you have. It will be of great help if you can share your symptoms and how they started and what treatments you have taken so far.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
