Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 29 years old. I had a small issue. I have used Primoult-N for 20 days due to vacation. After stopping the medicine, the mensus was as usual but this month mensus started but only once there was a little spot of blood and later it was only black spots. Please provide me a solution for this. I have my marriage on the 10th of this month. If it is abnormal, it will be a problem.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

This could be because of hormonal changes. There is nothing to worry about. However, if you have a doubt, then get yourself checked by a gynecologist and get a pelvic scan done to rule out the exact cause. Do get back to me with reports so that I can guide you further. Take care.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

Is there no other method? Visiting a hospital is impossible for me at this point.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

You can actually wait for a week or so. There is no emergency to get checked immediately. It is just because of the hormonal changes due to the pill you have taken. So relax and do not worry. However, if you have a doubt, then get back to me. Take care.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

Is there any way that I can get back to normal bleeding? If this happens, there is my wedding this month, it will be a problem at that time.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

You can take Primolut N 5 mg twice a day for three days and you should be getting your periods within a week. But then it could be close to your wedding day. So it is better to leave it just like that or continue taking the pill until you do not want to get your periods. Once you stop taking it, you will have withdrawal bleeding within a week. However, if you have a doubt then get back to me. Take care.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

Is there any other method so that the mensus becomes regular and no problem arises? Even on taking Primolut N, there is a little spotting even now.

Answered by Dr. Neha Rathod

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

You are too close to your wedding date to prescribe anything else. It is the only way out.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
