How can I lose weight?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 5'61", 38 years old, and 176.37 Ibs weight. Since the last one to five months, I have left wheat 80 % from my diet and following on average 1000 to 1500-calorie diet every day. Initially, I lost weight from 176.37 to 171.96 Ibs in two weeks, but now I am stuck at 174.16 Ibs weight. I do not know what to do. I walk two kilometers three times a week or swim two to three times a week.

Kindly suggest what to do. I am really frustrated as no result is coming now. I want to lose weight.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concerns. Many persons on the 1200 calorie diet face a similar issue. Here are the tips to lose weight :

  1. You should eat small healthy snacks between main meals.
  2. Do more cardio exercise.
  3. Avoid eating carbohydrates after 7 PM.
  4. Good sleeping hygiene (sleep not less than 6 hours at night).
  5. Drink fat burning beverages (like lemon juice).
  6. Take one day off per week.
