Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 35 years old male. I have some questions about possible sexually transmitted diseases. I have not had sex without condoms and I have a test bag. For the past few years, I had two high-risk encounters for STDS. Before eight months, I went to a strip club and a stripper put her hand on my penis under my pants while dancing on me. Before four months, I got a massage and the lady rubbed my penis and touched my scrotum. I am wondering whether I am at risk for contracting STD from these exposures. Can warts spread from hands to the penis? I did not ask these people whether they have STDS. I have not noticed any bumps or sores or burning but sometimes my penis becomes red after ejaculation. What to do?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Yes, warts and herpes can spread by touching if the other person has wart lesions or active herpes on hands. Otherwise, the chances are very less. Chances of getting other STDs (sexually transmitted diseases) like syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia by touching are negligible. These diseases can spread mainly through sexual contact. Warts can spread by hands but the touching person should have warts on hands or anywhere on the body. If the person touches warts on the body and touches your genitals, then it can spread to the penis. So do not worry about STD. You can have a candidal infection and it is a type of fungal infection causing redness. You can just take treatment for candidal balanitis. You can take tablet Flucanozole 400 mg one tablet for a day and you can apply Clotrimazole cream over the penis on the night for three weeks.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
