Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have sensitive skin and therefore most products irritate me. I started using the dual acne gel which worked amazing for the first month. Now I am not too sure if it works as well. I have been using an acne face wash but I am not sure if it is making my skin any better or worse. I have been prescribed the Epiduo acne cream but I am scared that It will irritate my skin. My main areas for acne are my T-zone, mainly my forehead.

Do I use the new gel alongside the face wash?

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through your case. You need to know that acne is common at your age. There is frequent exacerbation due to stress, hormones, fast food, and cosmetics. Please use dual gel or cream in very little amounts. They will irritate you if used in large amounts. Anti-acne face wash will be fine.

Thank you.
