Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have protected sex with a sex worker for the first time in my life and the last one. Can I be in contact with the virus? After two weeks I have some pain under the ribs on the left and right side, and stomach pain but not every time.

Hi, Welcome to icliniq.com. I read your query and understand your concern. If it is a protected sex then these symptoms may occur due to other reasons. The pain in the mid-abdomen is mostly due to acid peptic disorder. Do not worry as it is not due to HIV (Human mmunodeficiency Virus) infection. You should stop eating junk food, fried and spicy food for some time. You should eat regularly. Eating habits should be proper such as eating something every three hours. Add curd to your lunch. Eat citrus fruits like orange, kiwi, and gooseberry. Medicine: Esomeprazole and sustained release Domperidone, twice daily. Once before breakfast and once before dinner for seven to 10 days. Tablet Ofloxacillin and Ornidazole, twice daily. Once after lunch and once after dinner for five days. Liquid Mucaine gel, two teaspoonfuls for 10 days thrice a day. Capsule Unienzyme twice daily after lunch and dinner for 10 days. Tablet Meftal-spas for pain in the abdomen. Take two times after food as required.

Thank you for consulting me.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
