Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I rush to the restroom every time I eat something sweet, spicy, or oily. What is this? I immediately feel stomach pain with weird stomach gurgling sounds and then the rushing bowel movement. And it is mostly a runny stool. I will not say it is diarrhea but runny stool.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

This is called irritable bowel syndrome. As soon as food particles reach the stomach, gastric stimulation starts and passes on to the gastro-intestinal tract. Avoid spicy and oily food and eat slowly. I suggest medications for five days. If not relieved, better consult your gastroenterologist.

1. Tablet Pan D (Domperidone and Pantoprazole) 1-0-1 before food.

2. Tablet Librax (Chlordiazepoxide and Clinidium) 1-1-1 before food.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
