Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 34 years old, hypertensive since 18 months. A few months back, I suffered from erectile dysfunction with different groups like Amlodipine, Ramipril, Natrilix, and even Telmisartan. I am not obese and I practice three days a week. Recently, Tadalafil stopped giving an effect, while before I used to have three days of erection with one pill.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Get your blood pressure regularly checked and take your medicines to keep BP under control. Get your blood sugar levels checked in order to rule out diabetes which is one of the main causes of erectile dysfunction.

Drugs like Tadalafil can be used on SOS basis for erection but if that is not helping, then you should take 5 mg tablet daily for at least four weeks and take 20 mg on SOS basis. This will help make your erection strong. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with him or her and start taking the medicines with their consent.
