Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 19-year-old male, and I have occasionally been suffering from severe back pain for about a year now. In addition, I have experienced vague pain in my testicles for the past two weeks. Could it be an effect of masturbation? I am addicted to this habit and have been masturbating three to four times a week for years now.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern and am sorry for such discomfort. Yes, excessive masturbation can result in testicular pain. But other relevant medical history has to be ruled out before making excessive masturbation the cause of the above problem. Do you have any history of unprotected sexual intercourse recently? Any symptoms of penile discharge? Any difficulty in micturition?

Please reply to the above questions. In addition, I would suggest you temporarily stop masturbating and, if necessary, take pain reliever medicine to get relief from testicular pain. About backache, the cause could be due to many factors. However, if the problem is bothering or concerning you, you can take proper consultation to address it for further guidance. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
