Hello doctor,
My problem is that whenever I talk to anyone I lose my focus suddenly in between the conversation and become insecure. I am unable to focus and always get distracted while talking to people.
Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Thank you for your query.
I understand your concern. You are suffering from social anxiety. You need to be confident. Start talking with yourself by making your eye to eye contact and looking into the mirror. Read good books, write a journal or your thoughts that will help you to increase your vocabulary. Do daily exercise for 30 to 40 minutes, and do meditation for 15 to 20 minutes which will help you to build your concentration and confidence. Eat healthy good home-cooked food, avoid junk foods, take good sleep for 7 to 8 hours, wear clean and comfortable clothes, be neat and clean, have proper nail cuts, and hair combed, teeth clean, and use a good deodorant. Smell good but not so heavy and strong, try to talk with strangers daily just small conversation or smile to your neighbors, play outdoor sports, learn or play musical instruments, spend time with your family and friends, etc. Live your life not just spend. If you are not confident then just pretend to be confident.
I hope this has helped you. Thank you.
