Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My last period started a few days back. I have not had unprotected sex for over a year. I have not taken any contraceptive pills but have itching, burning, and even a slight pain in my clitoris. Please help me.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Do not worry. As there is itching, burning, and pain. I think there is some infection. I think you have not received periods this month. I suggest you to clean vagina with vaginal wash regularly. Put Clingen (Clindamycin and Clotrimazole) vaginal tablets inside once per day for three days. Take Capsule Itraconazole 200 mg once a day, tablet Bilastin (starch glycolate) once per day, tablet Levamac (Levofloxacin) 250 mg twice a day for three days. Delay in periods may be due to some hormone disturbance, stress or other factors. Take tablet Primolut-N (Norethisterone) twice a day for five days. Periods will occur within few days of stopping Primolut N. You can take medicine simultaneously. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with them, and take medications with their consent.

I hope this information will help.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

What was the date of unprotected intercourse?

Thanks.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

It was protected sex last month. I have not done unprotected sex since the previous year.

Thanks.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Do not worry. As sexual intercourse was with protection, so no chance of getting pregnant and no need to repeat the urine pregnancy test.

Thanks.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Do not worry. It is common due to some infection or following friction injuries during intercourse.

I hope this information will work.

Thank you.
