Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have been experiencing itching inside my penis for the past three days. The itching worsens during urination and subsides afterward. There is no rash present.
Please advise.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Is the itching inside the penis or on the penis head? Do you have any other symptoms such as fever, a slow flow of urine, or straining to pass urine? Have you had any recent sexual activity? It currently seems like a urinary tract infection.
I look forward to your answers.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thank you for your reply.
The itching is not on the penis head but on the skin that covers it. I do not have any of the symptoms you mentioned. Everything seems normal except for the persistent itching. I had sex with my wife 10 days ago, but not recently.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
It appears to be an infection of the skin on the penis head, possibly accompanied by a mild urinary infection. I suggest applying a combination of Clotrimazole and Beclometasone cream to the affected skin twice a day for two weeks. Additionally, take Levofloxacin 500 mg once each morning for five days. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with him or her, and take the medicines with take the medicines with their consent.
Additionally, clean your penis with warm water, avoiding rubbing or using soap. Drink plenty of water, up to four liters a day.
I hope this helps you.
Thanks for using icliniq, and have a nice day.
