Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am suffering from balanitis because I never wash my penis, and now my foreskin does not go back. Please suggest me any steroid cream.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Balanitis is inflammation of the glans penis. It could be because of many causes, such as bacterial, viral, or fungal.

I am very sorry. I cannot prescribe anything without confirming the nature of inflammation and without making a precise diagnosis.

Please do not use any steroid cream on your genitals.

I would suggest you attach your clinical picture along with your query so that it is convenient for me to comment on your condition and give you appropriate suggestions. If the foreskin is not going back, it is called phimosis. I would suggest you meet a dermatologist or surgeon in person for a better picture of your condition. I hope you find it helpful.

Kind regards.
