Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I skipped breakfast and slept five hours for one month. And now, one day, I got bleeding while pooping. Is it an ulcer or something serious?

Welcome to icliniq.com.

1) Bleeding during pooping can be associated with many diseases of the anal canal or lower part of the large intestine.

2) Does bleeding was on the surface of the stool or comod? Or it was mixed with stool? How much was the quantity? What was the color of stool and bleeding? What is your bowel habit?

3) Generally, a small amount of fresh-red colored bleeding on the surface of stool is associated with anal fissure.

4) Brownish bleeding mixed with stool is associated with diseases in the large intestine, and this warrants colonoscopy to confirm it.

This finding is not associated with your breakfast habits.
