Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am very depressed. I am so tired of being tired and fatigue all the time. I have low self-esteem because I am over-weight but I love life. I love my family, my kids, my husband. They love me. I cannot get a job to help pay bills. No one is calling me back. I am so depressed and down every day all day.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

As you are suffering from depression, you need the help of a psychiatrist. In such condition, SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) such as Fluoxetine and psychotherapy are helpful. Also, regular exercise is very important as it helps in both hypertension and depression. Also, ask your physician to review anti-hypertensive drug (attachment removed to protect patient identity) as it may be a side effect of these drugs.

Investigations to be done

Investigations to be done are thyroid function test, and blood sugar.

Probable diagnosis

The probable cause is depression.

Treatment plan

For the treatment plan, I suggest SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors).

Preventive measures

A preventive measure is regular exercise.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
