Hi doctor,

I am diabetic since 9 years. I am taking Glisen-PM1 and Vogo 0.2 before and after meal respectively. My fasting remains below 100 and PP is more than 200. Please advise. Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

  • In such case, I would like to know whether you take Glisen-PM 1 (Combination of Glimepiride, Metformin and Pioglitazone) before you got your postprandial value done.
  • If no, then get your repeat fasting and postprandial test done in which you would also consume your morning medicine as you take normally before giving your sample for postprandial.

Thank you doctor,

My fasting level remains below 100. I had Glisen-PM 1 before breakfast and had Vogo 0.2 after breakfast. Two hours later, my sugar level comes back as 225 or 250. Should I take Vogo with Metformin? Also, my sex interest has declined.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

  • You should take Voglibose thrice daily with meals and your Metformin should be increased to 1000 mg per day from current medicine, which currently contains only 500 mg.
  • We have a lot of further treatment options. But, I suppose you should be started with this at present. Kindly share my opinion with your doctor.
