Hello doctor,
My 64-year-old husband has chills, vomiting, and diarrhea. It started with a stomach ache for a couple of days, and these new symptoms started today with nausea and progressed until about 6.30 pm when the vomiting, chills, and diarrhea began. He had a stomach ache last week and is disabled. Currently, he is on blood thinners, blood pressure medicines, opioids for chronic pain, baby Aspirin and an inhaler for COPD. Kindly help.

He does not have a fever but his forehead is ice cold. Does this indicate anything?

The cold forehead could come from excess sweating (which may be the reason fever is not yet recorded). It could also mean that he is getting dehydrated and needs to be admitted urgently and started on IV fluids.
