Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have rashes on the right cheek for ten days. It keeps on increasing over the days.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

It seems to be a skin infection. Please mention whether you have pain while touching and send a more clear picture of both cheeks. Please mention whether you have any other symptoms like fever.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I have rashes for ten days. Initially, it started as red dots in some areas with one or two spots. Later it got spread. I got three stages in this infection and I am attaching a picture of it. I had a fever and consulted a doctor near by. The doctor told me that it was due to exposure to dew. She told me to apply aloe vera or any calamine related ointment. But I am waiting for your reply.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It looks like dryness eczema. It can be a fungal infection also. As you have consulted the doctor already, you can try to treat dryness first and if there is no improvement, then you can take antifungals. You can use Cetaphil cream (Polyglycerylmethacrylate and Propylene glycol) three to six times a day. There is a high chance for you to have improvement. Please let me know if there is no improvement in the next three to four days.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
