Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 61 years old, and I have erectile dysfunction. I have taken Viagra for the past ten years. Sometimes it gets up and then does not maintain for five minutes. Sometimes it does not get up. I have been to a urologist and tested. I have V leakage (venous leakage). Now they are saying I have low free testosterone, and I am taking pills to increase it. I have been taking it for the past month. I am also taking Lipisol for high blood pressure. I am living abroad. Where can I go to get treated?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I thoroughly read your query and understand your concern.

There are multiple reasons for the erection issue. It can be due to low testosterone, and if you do not have prostate issues, you can start testosterone tablets. You can use the Viagra tablet when needed. Make sure your blood pressure is normal. Choose an appropriate place for sex with no disturbance. Make sure you and your partner are fully naked before sex. The room should not be very cold; it will shrink the penis. Always have very dim light almost; you can only see the shape of your partner. Admire your partner during sex. Give your partner an orgasm (read about female orgasm) before asking for foreplay from your partner. You should receive at least 15 minutes of foreplay from your partner. During foreplay, your partner should always hold your penis and stroke-like masturbation, but very slow strokes should be continued till you insert it into the vagina. Most men do not prefer to talk during sex because of concentration issues. Subconscious words love you, sexy can be there, but strictly no complicated words or mathematics. Always start with the missionary position. It is good post-child birth to try scissors or the doggy position.

I suggest you include the following list of exercises in your routine:

1. Kegel.

2. Glute bridge.

3. Reclined butterfly pose.

4. Lying leg raise.

5. Plank.

6. Push up.

7. Squat.

8. Hip flexor lunge.

9. Swimming.

10. Running or fast walking for 5 minutes.

11. Yoga.

I suggest you include the following foods in your diet:

  • Strawberry.
  • Apple.
  • Avocado.
  • Sweet potato.
  • Sesame seed.
  • Almond.
  • Garlic.
  • Little chocolate.

Hope I have answered your query.

Thanks and regards.
