Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have weak erections. I have a weak ejaculation during intercourse and face difficulty releasing the sperm during the intercourse but I am able to release it through masturbation. I have a previous history of the same issue. I have not been on any medications ever. Kindly suggest something on this.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern, According to your complaints you may be suffering from ED (erectile dysfunction). Reasons for erectile dysfunction (ED) are -

1. Stress due to work (night work) or family-related. To overcome, do regular exercise and yoga.

2. Depression.

3. Varicocele.

4. Fear of failure - having one episode of ED once may make you feel you will end up with ED.

5. Low self-esteem (chronic masturbation).

6. Homosexuality.

7. Religious constrains.

8. Smoking and alcohol.

9. Long-term illness like cardiac disease, thyroid disease, kidney disease, or any other disease that requires long-term medication.

10. Negative attitude towards your partner.

11. Hormonal issue – thyroid issue, low testosterone.

12. Long-term drug usage.

13. Diabetes and hypertension.

I suggest you to get the following tests done -

Doppler Penis, USG (ultrasonography) of pelvis and scrotum, blood pressure, RBS (random blood sugar), free T3 (triiodothyronine) T4 (Thyroxine), Testosterone, and TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone).

Share more details regarding above reasons, we can work on diagnosis and treatment .

You need to plan for regular exercise and a proper diet. The list of exercises include kegel, glute bridge, reclined butterfly pose, lying leg raise, plank, push-up, squat, hip flexor lunge, swimming, running or fast walk for 5 minutes, and yoga.

You can consume foods like strawberry, apple, avocado, sweet potato, sesame seed, almond, garlic, and some chocolate. For temporary solution, I suggest you tablet Mildfil 5 mg (Tadalafil 5 mg) twice a day.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
