Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 26 years old female and have a genital wart on my vulva, which is causing itching and discomfort. Currently, I am using Podophyllum resin, Benzoin, and Aloe Vera paint (Podowart paint) as a solution.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Genital warts in the vulval area can be quite challenging in terms of application of Podowart paint (Aloe Vera, Benzoin, Podophyllum resin, and Salicylic acid) due to the medicine being really strong in potency. It may cause irritation and a burning sensation for some individuals. If the current medication is working well for you, kindly continue the same. I would also advise you to consult a dermatologist in person, and depending on the exact location of the genital wart, your doctor can help get rid of it via radio frequency electro cauterization where the wart lesion is burnt layer by layer. There are also laser treatments available for wart removal. Stay happy, healthy, and safe.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
