Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Since yesterday I have been having weird rushes of adrenaline in my head and some odd sensations on the left side of my head. I am worried about having temporal lobe seizures. The sudden rush to my head is followed by pressure or a slight ache to the side of my head. I also have frequent deja vu almost every day. Currently, I am on the tablets Ziprasidone 20 mg (morning) and 40 mg (at night) and Bupropion 150 mg twice a day, and occasional Propranolol (sometimes Tadalafil).

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Your symptoms could be related to high blood pressure values or panic attacks. Temporal lobe epilepsy cannot be excluded either. For this reason, I recommend closely monitoring your blood pressure values and checking complete blood count and thyroid hormone levels for thyroid gland dysfunction. The next step will be performing an EEG (electroencephalogram) if these tests results are normal.

Kindly follow up if you have more doubts.

Kind regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
