Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I will turn 18 years, but my height is 5 feet and 3 inches. Which medicine can be beneficial for me to increase my height without any side effects? Currently, I am taking Ashwagandha. Kindly suggest.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You can still add a little to your height, as it is believed that boys can grow taller till 21 years of age. However, the rate is very slow at this age because your bones have mostly fused. You can do stretching exercises, skip, swim, and play basketball. Eat a protein-rich diet. Moreover, yoga is believed to help increase height even at your age. There are specific yoga exercises for this purpose. Give it a try. No known medicine can increase height. I hope this helps you.

Thank you.
