Patient's Query

Hello Doctor.

Recently, I have been having disturbed sleep, with nightmares and shaking and sweating of the body. Even after I wake up, the thought lingers in my mind. I cannot always figure out what my dreams mean, and they are not always relatable. I also feel disoriented during these times with hallucinations, which usually occurs two hours after I sleep and lasts for a few hours to minutes. I have been experiencing this for the past six months, and it makes me very concerned about my lack of sleep and deteriorating mental state. I would like to know what treatment I should get to prevent this from happening again.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

The nightmares indicate that you have latent depressive symptoms. I assure you that you should not be concerned about your condition, but I recommend that you focus more on your career right now, pursue any kind of hobby, and spend time on personal fitness.

I also recommend that you take the medications listed below for two weeks.

  • Tab.Zosert (Sertraline) 50 mg - one tablet at night per day.
  • Tab.Clonotril (Clonazepam) 0.5 mg tablet - one tablet at night per day.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
