Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

There are swellings near anus and vagina with pain. I guess the wall was ruptured during the process of cleaning as the pressure from the pump was too high.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I need to know more details regarding the swelling. A picture of the swelling gives better information regarding its nature. When was it noticed? Any pus? Please revert with details so that I can give specific comments.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I noticed the pain a few days back. The pain is consistent almost all the time. I cannot even sit with weight on my right butt. There seems to be no puss either. I feel like the anus ring towards the vagina and right side of the body is hurt and therefore the problem is existing. Also, I had a mild fever yesterday and day before yesterday. I had Combiflam for the same. Also, I have attached the image for better understanding. In the image, my index finger is in the location where the pain exists.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Features are more of an evolving perianal abscess. This is simply an infection in one of the glands around the anus. You need to start on antibiotics, my suggestion would be tablet Ciplox TZ. Also, painkillers like Combiflam or Ultracet can be used. Apply mild warm cloth in the region every sixth hourly for 10 minutes. Keep the area clean and hygienic. Avoid constipation and straining at stools. If the pain is not settling or getting worse you need to get the abscess drained, if any.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I have observed fever from past 3 to 4 days (approximately 100 degrees Fahrenheit). Along with this, I also feel that my right butt is swollen. I have been having Combiflam for the fever and along with the tablets, you asked. Do I need to get some blood test for fever, as I am worried for the root cause of the same.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

If fever is worsening, you have to get the abscess (pus) drained. Also, antibiotics need to be upgraded. The decision can be taken after examination. If possible, get a nearby surgeon to see at the earliest. Keep updating if any issues.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
