Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have bright red blood dripping after motion. The motion is smooth, regular, and painless. There is no other symptom. I consume beer occasionally and eat spicy food most of the time. This has happened before, but I do not know what is causing it. I drink about two liters of water at least every day. I weigh 127 pounds and am 25 years old. Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. After carefully analyzing the history provided, I would like to give you a brief idea of the condition. Bleeding from the rectum can be because of a number of conditions, but since it is bright red blood, it suggests, there can be trauma in your rectum or ulcerations, an anal fissure, which means a tear in your anal area, could be occasionally painless, Hemorrhoids or piles or growth in your colon or rectum. You do not have to worry by any means about the condition. However, I would suggest you get an opinion from a surgeon, as this requires in-person inspection and other procedures for the same diagnosis. For now, cut down on coffee, tea, or any beverages. Stick to consuming enough water, cut down on spicy or hot food or food that is hard to digest, increase the intake of vegetables and fruits, and have detox drinks. As I have mentioned, follow up in case of further queries and consult a surgeon in person. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
