Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am getting erection, but it gets disappear in a few seconds during intercourse. I also feel that my erection is not 100% hard. I do not get a full erection without blowjob. I have been having this problem since last two years. I have one kid and I do not have any issue with my sperm count. I used to take Viagra, which help me to get hard and longer erection.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

  • There is no specific grading of erection. If you are having erections, then in my opinion, there is no organic problem of your erection.
    • To remove doubt, you can go for serum prolactin and testosterone. Both these investigations will rule out any hormonal cause of the poor erection.
      • If you are compelled to use Viagra (Sildenafil) daily, then in place of this tablet you can take Tadalafil 20 mg. Tadalafil has long lasting effects and results in a sustained erection.
        • Herbal medicines like Tentex Forte and Confido can also be used. Take two tablets of each medicine twice a day for at least 1 to 1.5 months. This will improve the erection and your erection become hard. As there are herbal medicines, there is no risk of side effects.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

Why my erection disappears within a few seconds during intercourse? Why does not my erection sustain? I am attaching the laboratory test reports for your perusal, which do not show symptoms of poor erection. Please guide. I do not take Viagra daily. I use it occasionally and take 100 mg which increase erection time and hardness.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

  • The testicular ultrasound is normal (attachment removed to protect patient identity) and it rules out any organic cause related to testes and epididymis. Your thyroid functions are also normal.
  • In my opinion, you should also get your serum testosterone and prolactin done and this will rule out any hormonal cause.
  • No need to take Viagra daily and instead start taking Tadalafil. Also start taking the herbal medicines I have mentioned will help in recovery. No need to worry.
