Patient's Query

I have a burning sensation when i pee :(( I think its been like this for a while and i looked it up and a UTI is only supposed to last 24-48 hours? Im not sure what to do! I started noticing after sex, howevwr I am almost certain its not an STD because the other person does not have one and neither do I! Although would I need to get tested just in case?

Hi

welcome to icliniq.com

There are 2 possibilities for the problem. 1.UTI and 2.STD. please note we can not rule out UTI without urine examination. Please note people both male &female can have STD without or very mild symptoms. you have 2 options get complete urine examination done. if it is positive for UTI --it can be treated and if negative--possibility of STD is more. It is important for you to appreciate that many people may have both UTI&STD and common mistake done is treating only UTI. please get complete urine examination done. with test results you can consult

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
