Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

The back of my mouth near my wisdom tooth hurts and there is a little red vein leading into my mouth. The pain would not go away. What can I do?

Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

With passion, commitment, and experience, I hope I will be able to provide you with a top-class medical opinion.

First of all, I doubt if you are pointing out the right tooth. Because you are younger for wisdom tooth troubles right now. However, the pain you feel might be because of food clogging into the gums near the tooth which you point out thus making the gums red and sore. You will have to visit a nearby dentist to confirm the current situation. Meanwhile, you should follow good oral hygiene measures along with gargling with lukewarm salt water thrice a day to reduce the soreness as a home remedy. For pain relief, take a tablet of Paracetamol 250 mg thrice daily after meals for one or two days after consulting your doctor. If it is the wisdom tooth, you got to check with an X-ray and manage it accordingly.

Thank you for choosing icliniq.

I am happy to help you and will always be available whenever you need me at icliniq.com.

Thank you.
