Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a bloody and slimy discharge from time to time, not every day and sometimes just now when I go to loo and sometimes for two days and sometimes three days but then it is gone. I do not have any aches or cramps. I just want to know if I need to worry. I am not on any medication and not very fond of everyday medicine usage.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. Discharge from your vagina some days and not always is due to incoming periods or ovulation. Please pay attention to the time when you notice discharge more if a few days before periods. If from anus could be related to foods you eat, the medication you take, if you have constipation, and suffer from lack of bowel movement for 3 or more days, it is normal to have mucus or discharge from the rectum after having the bowel movement. As this has been going on for a while now, consult with your primary physician first and run a few diagnostic tests like urine analysis, abdominal ultrasound, fecal examination. Thank you and take care. Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
