Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have been suffering from asthma and allergy for the past 10 years. Now, I feel lethargic, weak and some pain in the hands and toes. My past medication includes Deriphyllin and Cetirizine. I have had blood tests and have attached the reports for reference.

Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your reports (attachment removed to protect patient identity).

  1. You have low vitamin D, low vitamin B, raised eosinophil count, borderline iron deficiency, and a raised TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone).
  2. Also, you need vitamin B, D, and iron replacement. Take plenty of fluids and juices.
  3. I suggest Dexorange and Calcirol sachet. Dexorange (Iron, Folic acid, and vitamin B) should be taken once a day for three weeks and Calcirol (Cholecalciferol) once a week for six weeks.
  4. Repeat vitamin B, iron, and vitamin D levels thereafter. You need to repeat a TSH test after two months. You have eosinophilia. Check serum IgE levels. Tablet Montelukast may help you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
